In spite of having a good season with our race car, we knew it could be even better. We were sure there was more power in the engine than what we were seeing, but how could we tweak it out? Renting the track for a day or two, and losing a couple of vacation days in the process, hardly seemed an option.

Then one of the guys we race with mentioned that DynoMight had a mobile DynoJet chassis dyno that could be rented. The price was right, so we booked the dyno into our shop for an evening.

Within two hours, we had found another 7 to 8 percent in torque and hp, and better still, it was right across the whole rpm range. The fuel air ratio sensor with readout was an excellent way of monitoring and making sure we didn't fry a piston in the process. In under two hours, and for very little money, we had the optimum settings and everything was dialed in for the last race of the season.
